Yes, Westworld has been off the air for well over a month now, and, yes, the second season doesn’t get started until sometime in 2018. But that doesn’t mean we’re going anywhere anytime soon.
In fact, in addition to the various interviews and fun fan-created alternate openings that we’ve been regularly sharing with you all, we’ll be soon embarking on a few mini-projects, including a look at the original films later this month and an exploration of the showrunners’ previous works in February. And all of this doesn’t even hold a candle to the biggest, grandest rewatch program that we’ve been busy putting together behind the scenes for later on this year, wherein we’ll revisit all 10 episodes and analyze them every which way. We can’t wait to get started on all this Westworld goodness.
But in order to achieve all this, we’re going to need help. We’re looking for new writers to help report on the news, to craft some of these crack features, and to come up with all sorts of other content on a regular basis. Is that you? Is that someone you know? Could you help spread the word? The more hands on deck, the farther this ship can sail, and the more fun we’ll all have in the process.
Hey – this is exactly the path that our bigger, badder sister site, Watchers on the Wall, took, and look where they are today. We have every intention of not only following in their footsteps, but to also exceed them (shhhhh – don’t tell them that. They’re a testy lot over in Westeros).
So be sure to hit us up and let the ideas start flowing. Oh, and that door? Don’t even worry about it. In fact, it doesn’t look like anything to me.
