Thandie Newton and Leonardo Nam at the SAG Awards

And a lesson in losing gracefully from Thandie Newton

Thandie Newton (Maeve Millay) and Leonardo Nam’s (Felix Lutz) on-screen chemistry was so outstanding, it helped Westworld nab an ensemble nomination for a drama series. And the two celebrated the night in style at the Screen Actors Guild Awards last Sunday night.

On the way to the ceremony, Nam posted a video of the the two excitingly making their way to the SAG awards with co-star Ptolemy Slocum (Sylvester):

Nam had such kind words for his co-star, Thandie Newton, in response to her Outstanding Performance nomination with Entertainment Tonight:

I really gotta give it to her. She really gave her all to this performance, and it really shows. People have really responded to her character and our storyline, so I’m just really grateful to be part of it.

Sadly, like the Golden Globes, Newton lost to Netflix series The Crown’s Claire Foy but humbly supported the actress and jokingly showed us how to lose graciously.

Fingers crossed for better luck at the Emmys, but it’s nice to see the cast still enjoying themselves as we wait for season two! Be sure to check out our post of the SAG awards, and stay tuned for more awards coverage.
