Most of us consider Game of Thrones – and now Westworld – as HBO’s flagship series, but do you ever wonder which shows are the most popular for streaming? Millions of viewers use streaming services in addition to cable television, and HBO is no exception. Comicbook recently revealed the most watched HBO show, and the winner may surprise you.

West Frontier and CableTV.com conducted a study evaluating which shows HBO GO/HBO NOW users were watching, and how they broke down by state. The surprising winner wasn’t Game of Thrones or Westworld, but Divorce, starring Sarah Jessica Parker and Thomas Haden Church. Not only was it the most streamed show overall, but it also won 12 of 50 states compared to two for Game of Thrones and three for Westworld. Of course, these results don’t take into account the millions of viewers who watch live (Game of Thrones and Westworld are #1 and #3 respectively in the regular HBO ratings).

The performance by state was affected by the setting for each series; they tended to be most popular in the states in which they are based. Silicon Valley won California, The Wire won Maryland, Deadwood won South Dakota, Treme won Louisiana, Big Love won Utah, and Ballers won Florida. Check out the map below to see the winner in your state.
