It’s long been rumored that Westworld season 1 star Ben Barnes (Logan) would be making a return in the upcoming second season, a thought that only gained more steam when Jimmi Simpson (William) confirmed his return to the show for season 2. Now it looks like we have definitive proof that us wishful fans were right!
Speaking with Screen Rant about his involvement in the Netflix series The Punisher, Barnes revealed this promising bit of information about whether or not he’s heard from Westworld‘s producers about season 2:
“I definitely have heard because I can tell you that I have been on set at least once already.”
While this pretty much confirms Barnes’ return to the HBO hit, it’s still unclear how much his character will be featured. Logan definitely fulfilled an important role in the first season as he helped spark William’s transformation into the Man In Back (Ed Harris). It’s difficult not to think that William and Logan will find their way back to each other as the second season returns to the older timeline, and perhaps Logan will have some revenge in store for the former friend that banished him to the edge of the park naked and on a horse.
Regardless of his involvement, it’s great to know that we’ll get to see more of Barnes and his character’s manipulative ways on the show.
What do you think of Barnes’ return? Do you have any other theories about how he’ll be involved in the season? Let us know!
