It appears Westworld season two filming will soon be wrapping up in Utah and moving on to California! According to The Daily Independent, Westworld will film next month in the Ridgecrest area. The Ridgecrest Area Convention and Visitors Bureau reports that the show is in need of extras for the shoot, which will likely take place in the California High Desert.
The production is seeking 300 to 400 people of all ethnicities, ages (18 and over), and types, although the press release noted that they have a specific need for Native American performers. All extras will be compensated for their participation. Filming is set for mid-December, although the exact dates are not known at this time.
Here are the details released by visitors bureau:
MEN can have facial hair – i.e., beards, mustaches, muttonchops of the era. Also seeking clean-shaven individuals.
WOMEN should have longer natural hair that is one color, no highlights please.
To apply, send a photo that shows only you in your natural, day-to-day state to email@example.com. The email should have the subject “Ridgecrest Extras” and the following information:
- Phone Number
- Complete size information (Men: height, weight, jacket size, shirt size, pants size, shoe size; Women: height, weight, dress size, bust, waist, hips, shoe size)
If you want to be a part of the second season, this may be your last opportunity.
Westworld star Jeffrey Wright (Bernard Lowe) recently posted to his Twitter account that filming is almost complete.
Back to La La to finish up #Westworld S. 2 and escape the post-Thanksgiving rolls w/ turkey & ham.

The mid-December shoot will likely be the last for Westworld season two. It will then move on to post-production with a premiere date sometime in the spring of 2018, as we reported earlier this year.
The long wait is coming to an end in just a few short months! Are you excited for Westworld to return?
