For over a year now, fans have been patiently (eh, more like impatiently) waiting for Westworld‘s second season to drop. Lucky for us, it seems the show is in the midst of taking another giant step toward making our dreams a reality!
As evidenced by a couple of the cast members’ social media posts, Westworld is officially starting to wrap some of its actors from filming. This fantastic news for fans, as it means the show is getting closer to capturing all of its content for the season. This also serves as great news for the show and its cast and crew, who are all aiming to have filming completed by Christmas (at least according to Ed Harris [Man In Black]).
Westworld newcomer Katja Herbers (Grace) is one of the first actors to alert the masses of her wrap, which she did yesterday via her Twitter:

All the feels indeed Katja, all the feels indeed…
In addition to Katja’s wrap announcement, Leonardo Nam (Felix) decided to share a picture of him and fellow star Evan Rachel Wood (Dolores) as the two of them posed in a photo booth while at the Westworld season 2 wrap party:
While the above photo is by no means a confirmation that either actor has wrapped filming, or that the show has wrapped production, it’s certainly a great sign that the HBO hit has the finish line very much in sight. Filming for the sophomore season has already spanned the better part of half a year, which is a longer timeframe than most big-budget blockbusters, and I can’t imagine how excited everyone must be to wrap things up.
Of course, being the needy fan that I am, I’m now chomping at the bit for the season’s first official trailer. I’m thinking (and hoping) that come February(ish) this may become a reality…
Finally, because we love them so much, we’ll leave you with this delightful picture of Nam and offscreen buddy Jimmi Simpson (William), shared on Nam’s Instagram just a few days ago:
What do you think of the exciting news? Let us know!
