  1. Who’s excited? Is anyone else anticipating the Sizemore and Maeve storyline to turn into a dark road trip/buddy comedy?

That would be awesome. It would also give Sizemore something interesting to do.

Very excited for tonight. I have so many questions that I don’t know where to begin. I’m a little worried about Bernard. Not sure if he was programmed for this series of events.

  3. mariamb,

I’m sure he wasn’t. Poor Bernard will also be suffering from damage from that bullet to the head and probably won’t have time for repairs without blowing his cover. 😬

  4. I’m so ready for this … it’s Monday morning in Australia and I’m at work … gonna have to extend my lunch break

    P.S. I’m Sansa’s Knight on Watchers

  5. Well this was confusing as usual, timewise. Was Bernard wearing different watches in the bit near the opening where time seemed to jump around? I may have imagined that. I didn’t go back and look.

So Bernard somehow gets from the bunker with the drones to unconscious by the seashore over the course of 11 days?

Thandie Newton is the best as always. But I missed Myles.

Dolores’ speech before she left those guests to hang was the only part that didn’t work for me. It seemed…programmed. 🙂

  6. mariamb,

I guess technically he’s not undetected already. The new girl whose name I didn’t catch definitely detected him (why didn’t she tell others, though?)

Meaning the female security guard at the beach? If so, nice observation. She seemed to detect something but I’m not sure if she knows what exactly.

    James Rivers,

I didn’t notice the watches but Bernard at the beach lost his glasses. That could be significant since the glasses have been such a distinct part of his mannerisms.

  9. mariamb,

She had cards, each of which had a photo and some text. I’m assuming those were of hosts. She definitely stopped at one with Bernard’s photo and she looked confused. Maybe someone can screencap that part, so that we can see what else the card says?

  11. That was a great premiere. Can’t wait to see what happens next.

And those drone hosts were really creepy.

  12. Definitely wasn’t disappointed in the Maeve/Sizemore scenes – they were probably my favorites of the episode.

  13. Vanessa Cole,

Yes, really great team-up. She is so empowered and doesn’t take shit from anyone and he is just kind of an ass (don’t know how else to describe him).

    “I fucking hate the outdoors”

Their journey hasn’t even started yet and he is already whining. And with Hector there as well I think we’re gonna get some great scenes. Definitely looks like it’s gonna be one of the highlights of the season. Or in the words of Lee Sizemore

    “A relentless fucking experience”

  14. Little late to the party here but I fucking love Sizemore. Him, Maeve and Hector are definitely gonna be the best parts of the season. I’m expecting to get some awesome dialogue on par to The Hound and Arya on Thrones (but obviously not as good because nobody beats that duo).

    mariamb,

Good catch with the glasses. Don’t know if anyone noticed in the season trailer but there’s a shot of Hale stumbling upon some other Bernard hosts that look to be tucked away in a storage unit – tinfoil theory but maybe the Bernard on the beach is actually one of these other host Bernard’s? Could explain why he looked even more confused than usual.
