Get ready for Sunday’s episode of Westworld with some beautiful new photos! HBO has released five images from the upcoming episode “The Winter Line.” Lisa Joy and Matthew Pitts wrote the script for this week, with Richard J. Lewis performing director duties. The synopsis is “People put up a lot of walls. Bring a sledgehammer to your life.” Sounds like smashing good fun!
The Winter Line was a series of German and Italian military fortifications in Italy during World War II. Given the premiere’s post credits scene and the photo below, it looks like the episode title will tie in to a visit to WarWorld. It seems the romance between Hector (Rodrigo Santoro) and Maeve (Thandie Newton) is still going strong, but is this a goodbye?
I’d be worried for Hector’s safety here if he hadn’t already died hundreds of times.
Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) is standing on a shore – is this his arrival back on the Delos parks island? I would say so, considering how worried he looks.
The photo of Maeve at the top of the article is her meeting Serac (Vincent Cassel), pictured below. According to the trailer, Serac wants her to kill Dolores – but Maeve may not obey so easily.
What do you think of these photos? Are you ready for episode two?
