As filming continues on Westworld‘s second season, we have some interesting information to share courtesy of new cast member Katja Herbers. The Dutch actress recently spoke to Veronica Magazine about her filming experience, and – as reported by the site De Telegraaf – the Dutch actress describes the shoot as “physically quite intensive, working days of sixteen, seventeen hours.” She explains that this contrasts to filming in the Netherlands, which typically stops after ten hours. In the United States however, “Everyone gets paid overtime, but it’s working until you drop.”
Another Dutch site, NU.nl, posted an interview today in which Herbers discusses her process for choosing projects. Since she finds it more difficult working in America, she is more selective with those roles, saying, “I only want to play in a good series that I would like to watch. That’s my criterion.” She also reveals that one of the biggest perks of filming for a prominent show like Westworld is working with big name talent. “To be able to work with top actors like Anthony Hopkins is, of course, also super exciting,” Herbers admits.
This seems to explicitly confirm what was only speculation before – that Hopkins will return as Dr. Ford for season two. Considering that Herbers’ role is defined as “a seasoned guest in Westworld whose latest visit comes at the park’s darkest hour,” perhaps we’ll see her interacting with Ford in a flashback to a previous visit. Another possibility is that Ford isn’t dead – either having had a host version of himself killed in the season one finale or replacing his human body with an artificial one.
What do you think? Speculate away in the comments!
I thought she was a host. She looks like she could be a host – the kind of innocent blonde that – in the cliche-loving mind of the visitors – gest kidnapped by native Americans for ransom.

I have another hypothesis. Before his death, Ford may’ve uploaded his consciousness into several hosts. What if “Grace” is one of them?
With regards to Herbers working with Hopkins, I think it may’ve been part of the first memory of the host she plays.

I totally agree with your view points; the way you take your view point is proper. As there are limitations for each work, so you are also in the right way. I am your loyal follower as I too have the same view point.

I don’t really mind whether it’s a flash back or he is still alive. as long as he is in it..

She’s already said that she didn’t say this. The original report just made it up.
Do you actually check sources? You know that checking sources is a thing, right?
